In order to give users more control over their translation output, Wordly has added a new feature - The Translation Blocklist. The Blocklist is an extension of the Translation Glossary which is available with all Wordly Translation Packages. Adding simultaneous interpretation to meetings and events is a great way to increase engagement and productivity.

What is a Blocklist?

A Blocklist is a list of words that you do not want to appear in your translated output. This could include profanity or other terms you do not want your audience exposed to based on local market requirements or legal recommendations.

Creating a Blocklist is fast and easy - and you can continuously expand and revise the list over time. Blocklists extend Wordly Translation Glossaries by including a list of terms you want removed from the translation output. Using a Translation Glossary of custom terms along with a Translation Blocklist can significantly improve the quality of the results.

Wordly customers can create a Blocklist in three steps:

  1. Navigate to the Glossaries section in the portal
  2. Select the Glossary you want to append with a Blocklist
  3. Add the Blocklist terms

If you are interested in getting a demo of the Blocklist, Glossary, or any other Wordly translation software features, schedule a personalized demo.
