About the job          

Overview

Wordly is developing a family of closely-related, web-based applications to enable customers to interact easily with Wordly real-time translation services.  Customers will use these apps to host and attend meetings and conferences across a variety of Wordly and 3rd-party platforms.  The developer will work on new and existing cloud services and will participate in requirements gathering and planning.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Expert in Java and Kotlin development
  • Experienced with Spring and Micronaut frameworks
  • Experienced in Javascript development
  • Proficient with automated testing and documentation
  • Proficient with Git
  • Experienced with Jenkins build systems
  • Experienced with Jira and agile development
  • Familiar with cloud vendor deployment environments
  • Comfortable working as part of a distributed team
  • Comfortable directing junior developers
  • Able to work independently
