It has been a busy September for Wordly - launching new capabilities, providing translation and captioning at events around the world, and winning another industry award.
New Feature - Enhanced Translation & Captioning
We are excited to announce the launch of enhancements to our translation and captioning engine which make it faster, and also increases the accuracy of the output. The enhancements apply to both captions and audio output, and will make the attendee experience even better.
Existing Wordly customers should review your glossaries to see if you need to make any adjustments based on the enhanced transcription capabilities. It is always a good idea to periodically review and revise your glossaries to include new terms, and test to see if you need to make any adjustments to the settings. This will help ensure you have high translation quality.
The enhancement is live now and customers do not need to do anything to access the updates.

Wordly is proud to announce we have won another industry award - the Skift Meetings Award for Most Innovative Event Technology Product. Wordly was recognized for making meetings and events more inclusive and engaging with AI. It is an honor to be recognized alongside other organizations who are revolutionizing the events industry like Destination Toronto, Marriott, and The Vendry.
Global Event Support
We supported hundreds of global events in September - examples included industry conferences, non-profit membership meetings, employee training, city council meetings, and religious services. Here is a recap of one of many notable events:
Dreamforce 2023 took over San Francisco the week of September 11th, bringing over 40,000 customers, partners, and industry experts to the Moscone Convention Center and nearby hotels & restaurants for the 3-day event.
The theme for the conference was how AI can be used to transform how organizations engage with their customers, partners, and suppliers across all touch points - including sales, marketing, customer success, and support.
Wordly helped make the event more inclusive and accessible by providing AI powered live translation and captions at hundreds of sessions on over 30 stages for 3 days. Our AI translation solution was a great complement to the conference focus on using AI to improve customer communications across all touch points.
Attendees were able to access live AI Captioning by scanning a QR code on signs placed at the entrance to the rooms, like the one shown above. After scanning the code with their phone, attendees selected from over 30 languages from a drop down list - clicked Attend - and they had instant access to live captions in the language they selected. This also provides a good alternative solution for sign language translation.
International Translation Day
Celebrate International Translation Day with us on September 30th. The day was designated by the UN as a way to draw attention to the importance of translation and the people in the translation industry. Our mission is to make language access easy and affordable for everyone and we are committed to continuous translation technology innovation.
